“Birds flyin’ high, you know how I feel
Sun in the sky, you know how I feel
Breeze driftin’ on by, you know how I feel
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me
Yeah, it’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me, ooooooooh
And I’m feelin’ good

Fish in the sea, you know how I feel
River runnin’ free, you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree, you know how I feel
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me
And I’m feelin’ good

Dragonfly out in the sun, you know what I mean, don’t you know
Butterflies all havin’ fun, you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done: that’s what I mean
And this old world is a new world and a bold world for me

Stars when you shine, you know how I feel
Scent of the pine, you know how I feel
Oh, freedom is mine, and I know how I feel
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me

And I’m feelin’… good”
-Feelin’ Good from the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint-The Smell of the Crowd by Anthony Newly and Leslie Bricusse, Released in 1964

This piece of Boomubbles fanart, which is part of Kaitlyn’s aka KatyGorl’s Claim a PPG Pairing Month, is dedicated to Nakao aka okanakao, whose birthday is being celebrated today. So, Nakao-san, otanjoubi omedetogazaimasu, sanbi sa remasu soshite kampai! I would also love to dedicate this to all of the hardcore Boomubbles shippers out there. So, I hope you all enjoy.

Ah, Boomer x Bubbles aka Boomubbles. The very color-coded RRB/PPG ship I am still passionate about, given the fact that I shipped Boomer and Bubbles as a couple ever since I was a teenager of fifteen years old or maybe even younger than that. I’ll say this once and I will say this again, this is the only color-coded pairing I can definitely put the OTP sign on because of how healthy, awesome, and well-done their chemistry is, even though they are also tied with Blossoomer and Butchubbles, thus sharing the title.

I decided to pick the song “Feelin’ Good”, as it illustrates the pacifistic, serene, and lovable nature of the Blues quite well. Who better to pull off this classic than the ever amazing and ever venerated Madame Nina Simone. Sit back, relax, enjoy Nina Simone’s rendition of Feelin’ Good, and bask in the loveliness, gentility, and pleasantness that is Boomubbles.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you in the next submission.

Boomer and Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls belong to Craig McCracken and Cartoon Network.
