The Splendid Seven’s Seven Signature Martial Arts

Greetings, Splendid Seven devotees, martial arts aficionados, and fighting video game fans. Antoni here with another written entry focusing on Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran specialising in the martial arts they do. Today, I will talk about the seven martial arts that Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran specialise in the most as well as what type of fighter best identifies each of them in terms of their personalities, martial arts, capabilities, and range as fighters.   I have been testing the proverbial waters of The Splendid Seven’s undeniable skills as martial artists as well as categorise which martial art perfectly captures them. In fact, I can never get enough of Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran joining together as a family of super strong and powerfully potent Yokai martial artists. It has been really fun researching on the various martial arts, although given some of my recent posts revolving around these seven Yokai martial artists, the choices could be better in terms of varying their skills. This is attributed to the various martial arts documentaries, YouTube videos, blog posts, let’s plays of fighting games specifically Street Fighter and Tekken, and reading about the various martial arts and even hybrid martial arts which I thought could perfectly and accurately fit each Splendid Seven member. From there, I have been enjoying the process of fitting each martial art to each Yokai combatant with a lot of glee.   It is true that strength comes in numbers, and these seven Yokai martial artists demonstrate that motto exceedingly well. Whether it is Sesshoumaru’s and Inuyasha’s complete program of strikes, grapples, and clinches; Shuran’s devastating submission holds and chokeholds, Hakkaku’s and Ginta’s excruciating headbutts, elbow strikes, shin kicks, and knee strikes; Ayame’s mighty punches, furious kicks, and dominating takedowns or Shunran’s flashy kicks and rapid strikes, spectators can always these seven to be in constant action, especially when they put their strengths together and emerge as the victors. Where their seven martial arts are concerned, I shall be, as usual, judging them by their overall lethalness. However, since this is Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran we are talking about, what they can accomplish would be considered as lethal to the ill-prepared body.   With that said, let us get in gear, arm ourselves with courage and strength for some memorable bouts, and step in that arena for a bloody good time, especially if the main attraction is seeing Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran whoop some opponent butt. Osu! Hajime!   Sesshoumaru: A Mightily Honourable Vanquisher Steeped in Tradition All the world’s strength, power, speed, deadliness, accuracy, timing, and balance are meaningless without tradition, discipline, honour, brotherhood, and respect. That has always been Sesshoumaru’s motto ever since he was a little child, considering that he, his father, his mother, and his younger brother Inuyasha have been making the martial arts their way of life. Through Sesshoumaru’s mastery of punching, blocking, kicking, striking, grappling, joint locks, and takedowns, he has been eager to learn different skills and to keep on growing as a martial artist while never besmirching his family, his code of honour, and his warrior ethics. Shotokan Karate Brazilian Jujitsu Judo Taekwondo Kudo American Kenpo Karate Shaolin Kenpo Karate   Shuran: A Frighteningly Powerful Executioner Steeped in Fortitude Brute strength, an intimidating presence, and heaps of aggression are the hallmarks that define Shuran as not only one of the strongest wrestlers in Japan but also the world. No opponents are too huge, too strong or too powerful to make him submit. No colosseum is too legendary to contain this powerful beast of a hulking panther Yokai grappler. Not even Vince McMahon and all of WWE would be so brazen to mess with Shuran because he can pulverise his opponents to pieces with his piledrivers, bearhugs, Boston Crabs, and camel clutches. Combat Sambo Vale Tudo Luta Livre Professional Wrestling Mongolian Wrestling Pehlwani Ssireum   Inuyasha: A Brutally Ferocious Champion Steeped in Lethalness Opponents, marauders, and plunderers better love the sight of their own blood when Inuyasha launches his series of uppercuts, jabs, reverse punches, spinning axe kicks, spinning back kicks, piledrivers, and submission holds with a sadistic smile on his face because he is all muscles, grit, fury, and brutality in his attacks and holds absolutely nothing back. Just like his older brother Sesshoumaru, he has also been thoroughly ingrained in the martial arts ever since he was a child, as it runs in the family. Therefore, Inuyasha trains, fights, stands tall, and roars like a veritable champion should, and he does so with raw muscular power and bravado. Pankration Mixed Martial Arts Kapu Kuialua Shootfighting Bokator Kyokushin Karate Zendokai   Hakkaku: A Potently Radioactive Skirmisher Steeped in Stamina Combat moves as quick as lightning, limbs as strong as steel, and strikes as hard as stones best describe Hakkaku of what he is capable of as a fighter and as a person. Whenever he steps into the arena, spectators know fully well that Hakkaku is more than capable of delivering violently bone-crushing knee strikes, shin kicks, headbutts, elbow strikes, punches, kicks, and clinches. Opponents better prepare themselves when Hakkaku comes with the clinch, for he can release a grand repertory of strikes that will leave them bleeding profusely. Armed with loads of speed, strength, stamina, and stealth, Hakkaku never ever disappoints. Muay Boran Pradal Serey Panantukan Kajukenbo Yaw-Yan Okichitaw Limalama   Ginta: A Robustly Tenacious Defender Steeped in Confidence Charisma, tenacity, and confidence merge superbly with mighty punches, flashing kicks, blinding strikes, and paralysing takedowns to make Ginta the exceptional combatant he is. Once Ginta enters the ring, he would have a great time with his opponents because, although he is meant to beat them into submission, his brilliant sportsmanship shines more brightly than the spotlights. Ginta is the type of combatant who never holds back even when his opponents knock down hard. Every time they do so, he would bounce back…

My Nine Favourite Splendid Seven Pairing Spars

Greetings, Splendid Seven devotees, martial arts aficionados, and fighting video game fans. Antoni here with another written entry focusing on Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran specialising in the martial arts they do. Today, I will be delving into my seven favourite pairings in martial arts sparring forms. There will be five platonic pairings, two loved pairings, one OTP pairing, and one OT3 pairing.   It is often said that martial arts is not just a question about how the individual throws attacks ranging from strikes to submission holds but also how they can work together as a group mostly of two or three. Whether the relationships are platonic or romantic, whenever two or three warriors band together to deliver some serious blows and/or holds, opponents better defend themselves against their attacks. With that said, let us delve into my nine favourite Splendid Seven pairings in the forms of martial arts spars, in which there are five platonic pairings consisting of three BroTPs and two BroT3s, two romantic pairings I love, one OTP pairing I hold with the highest regard, and one OT3 Pairing I also hold with the highest regard. Osu! Hajime!   Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha (BroTP): Complete Martial Artist Brothers With a formidably extensive background in Jujitsu, Judo, Karate, Kenpo, Taekwondo, Wrestling, and Boxing, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha are considered martial arts expert brothers par excellence. This is due to their father, Toga, and their mother, InuKimi, portraying such integral roles in their lives growing up as martial artists and as people. As The Splendid Seven’s most powerfully skilled fighters, every move these two dog Yokai brothers make in their repertory of punches, kicks, strikes, submission holds, takedowns, joint locks, and grapples is guaranteed to place their enemies in a near permanent state of paralysis. Shotokan Karate vs Kyokushin Karate Taekwondo vs Bokator Judo vs Pankration Brazilian Jujitsu vs Kapu Kuialua Shootfighting vs Mixed Martial Arts Kudo vs Zendokai American Kenpo Karate vs Shaolin Kenpo Karate   Shuran, Hakkaku, and Ginta (BroT3): Dynamic Attacker Brothers Shuran may be a predominant grappler, while Hakkaku and Ginta may be predominant strikers and clinchers, but what they can do together as a terrific trio of combatants is completely paralyse their opponents. Before the final bell rings, these three can cause as much collateral damage as possible. This is accomplished by combining Shuran’s submission holds, Hakkaku’s headbutts and elbow strikes, and Ginta’s knee strikes and shin kicks all strong enough to leave their opponents writhing in excruciating pain. Brute strength, quick reflexes, and speedy stamina never looked or felt this amazingly potent yet fatally ruthless. Combat Sambo vs Muay Boran vs Lethwei Vale Tudo vs Pradal Serey vs Sanda Luta Livre vs Kajukenbo vs Jeet Kune Do Professional Wrestling vs Panantukan vs Pencak Silat Mongolian Wrestling vs Limalama vs Kuntao Pehlwani vs Okichitaw vs Hwa Rang Do Ssireum vs Yaw-Yan vs Tang Soo Do   Sesshoumaru and Shuran (BroTP): Intimidating Grappler Brothers Powerful foes will neither know peace nor repose when Sesshoumaru and Shuran make their entrance and deliver their lethal brand of capital punishment and brutal execution. Sesshoumaru’s and Shuran’s physically imposing presence demonstrates a dichotomy between the former’s cold deadliness and the latter’s brutal force thanks to Sesshoumaru’s impactfully hard-hitting strikes, grapples, and clinches and Shuran’s terrifyingly brutalising piledrivers, bearhugs, and holds. If it is any wonder why Sesshoumaru and Shuran are considered the most intimidating combatants foes would be foolish enough to mess with. Brazilian Jujitsu vs Luta Livre Shotokan Karate vs Vale Tudo Judo vs Professional Wrestling Taekwondo vs Combat Sambo Shootfighting vs Mongolian Wrestling Kudo vs Pehlwani American Kenpo Karate vs Ssireum   Inuyasha, Hakkaku, and Ginta (BroT3): Bloody Close-Range Combat Brothers When Inuyasha, Hakkaku, and Ginta get really close to their opponents with scary grins on their faces and feral snarls, this should already be indicative of the mightily fatal blows they can deliver. Regardless if they are Inuyasha’s double axe handles, Hakkaku’s headbutts or Ginta’s elbow strikes or the vast repertoire of punches, kicks, strikes, takedowns, clinches, grapples, and holds they have in their arsenal, there will be copious amounts of blood that will be spilt thanks to how effectively Inuyasha, Hakkaku, and Ginta use their hands, feet, and bodies as lethal weapons. Together, they are a veritably indestructible force of bloodshed. Pankration vs Pradal Serey vs Pencak Silat Kapu Kuialua vs Muay Boran vs Lethwei Mixed Martial Arts vs Kajukenbo vs Jeet Kune Do Bokator vs Panantukan vs Sanda Kyokushin Karate vs Limalama vs Hwa Rang Do Shaolin Kenpo Karate vs Okichitaw vs Tang Soo Do Zendokai vs Yaw-Yan vs Kuntao   Ayame and Shunran (BroTP): Fearless Striking Sisters Speed, power, accuracy, and timing join together in glorious harmony in the forms of Ayame and Shunran confidently delivering some serious blows to their enemies. Ayame’s great range of uppercuts, jabs, reverse punches, backfists, roundhouse kicks, low kicks, and axe kicks are an exceptional compliment to Shunran’s grand list of butterfly kicks, split kicks, tornado kicks, spinning kicks, spinning backfists, palm strikes, and knife hand strikes. Luring their opponents into their trap is a walk in the park for Ayame and Shunran should they dare underestimate these fiery auburn-haired sisters, and their punishment is swift as lightning. Hapkido vs Shaolin Kung Fu Yongmudo vs Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu Koppojutsu vs Savate Boxing vs Baguazhang Nippon Kenpo vs Taido Shorinji Kenpo vs Aikido Kickboxing vs Capoeira   Sesshoumaru and Ayame (Loved Pairing): Respectful Allegiance Incarnate Martial arts would not have an established foundation of self-defence and formidability if it were not for the importance of honour, respect, allegiance, courage, and discipline. Fortunately, Sesshoumaru and Ayame embody those principles and more thanks to the strong bond they have together. Sesshoumaru’s lethal use of spear hand strikes and Ayame’s devastating use of uppercuts are strengthened to a high degree because of how profound their combined strengths are, thus seeing them triumph over their enemies. Coupled with their tactful lethalness is their undying willingness to grow as…

The Mighty Morphin Inurangers’ Platonic Pairings

Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here with another Inurangers entry. Today, I will be delving into the seven Mighty Morphin Inurangers’ platonic relationships which could make Tommy Oliver, Jason Lee Scott, Rocky DeSantos, Zack Taylor, Adam Park, Billy Cranston, Trini Kwan, Aisha Campbell, Kimberly Ann Hart, and Katherine Hillard really proud of the seven teenage Yokai warriors with attitude in terms of their strong bonds together. As a close-knit family who stick by each other and encourage each other with all their hearts, minds, and soul to be better than they are, each of these Mighty Morphin Inurangers also have strong platonic relationships that have solidified their bonds in a fiercely strong manner. Even if Urasue and her cronies consisting of Goshinki, Kotatsu, Rengokuki, Byakuya, and Yura of the Hair deign to use their machinations to destroy them and Naraku implements his plots to attempt to separate them, these seven teenage Yokai warriors with attitude will never be broken by any stretch of the imagination. This is because they count on each other with all of their lives and would never dream of abandoning each other. With that said, let us dig in to the Inurangers’ main platonic relationships. You know the drill, ladies and gentlemen, it’s morphin time and we need Ninja Inuranger power now! White Tigerzord Power! Green Dragonzord Power! Black Mastodon Power! Pink Pterodactyl Power! Blue Triceratops Power! Yellow Sabre-Toothed Tiger Power! Red Tyrannosaurus Power! Sesshoumaru and Shuran: Formidable Fighters and Close Comrades It is easy to peg Sesshoumaru the White Tigerzord Ranger and Shuran the Green Dragonzord Ranger as the Special Rangers in the vein of Tommy Oliver from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Mike Corbett from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, and both Eric Myers and Alex Drake from Power Rangers Time Force because they are the most experienced combatants and the strongest warriors who can challenge the already established team with their physical power and firm warrior code. In fact, Sesshoumaru bears one notable aspect of the Sixth/Extra Ranger in which he is the stoic and aloof warrior akin to Eric Myers, while Shuran bears the other notable aspect of being the Sixth/Extra Ranger in which he is the brutally strong berserker akin to Tommy Oliver during his Green Ranger tenure. Combining both qualities together make Sesshoumaru and Shuran a lethal force to be reckoned with. Sesshoumaru may have the stealth, focus, and determination as the Inurangers’ deadliest fighter and veteran Karateka, while Shuran may have the brute strength, high-impact submission holds, and bone-shattering takedowns as the Inurangers’ strongest fighter and wrestler specialising in various styles. However, these traits are barely half of what make Sesshoumaru and Shuran powerful whether individually or together. What makes them truly powerful is their perseverance, grit, and innate desire to never settle for anything less plus being the Mighty Morphin Inurangers’ main bastion of power not just in terms of prize-winning combat prowess but also in cooperation and balance. While Sesshoumaru and Shuran embody Tommy’s two drastically different sides during his tenure in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, i.e. the noble White Tigerzord Ranger and the brutal Green Dragonzord Ranger, they would also emulate Eric Myers’ stoicism and strength combined with Alex Drake’s toughness and resilience to a tee, thus creating a Yin-and-Yang dynamic with each other. Sesshoumaru’s and Shuran’s dynamic brotherhood demonstrates how willing they are to stand by each other, challenge each others’ notions about each other as the strongest fighters of the team as well as individuals, and willingness to make the odds be at their favour. Their strong cooperation is what has brought them and their teammates together, for they have great formidability in defeating their foes with everything they got. Formidable combat prowess and raw power aside, Sesshoumaru and Shuran put their faith and trust in each other to give each other reassurance under the face of doubt. Should Shuran be injured, Sesshoumaru would risk his life to save his comrade. Should Sesshoumaru be in the face of danger, Shuran would use his prodigious strength to stop whatever is hurting him and would protect him with all of his might and being. Furthermore, they would do everything in their power to encourage each other to not settle for mediocrity and confide in each other with attentiveness, undivided attention, and high interest to thoroughly understand each others’ dreams, desires, fears, and hopes. Their interpersonal balance is just as important because Sesshoumaru can help Shuran be more focused and goal-oriented with what he desires in his life, while Shuran can help Sesshoumaru realise that there is more to life than glory and conquest as well as have the occasional time to relax and enjoy the simpler things in life. Additionally, both Sesshoumaru and Shuran would learn a few lessons on humility, a good attitude, self-sacrifice, and respect for each other and their family. In fact, there have been several occasions where Sesshoumaru risked his own life to save Shuran, for their innate sense of platonic companionship and total brotherhood made him see that they shared a lot in common as people first and warriors next. Nothing can ever break Sesshoumaru and Shuran apart, for their brotherhood is rich in genuine solidarity, dynamic balance, and undying respect. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha: Inuranger Brothers Together, Warriors Forever Full-time Ranger siblings by blood are not a novelty, for Super Sentai fans do not need to look further than the five Hoshikawa siblings from Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman, Geki and Burai from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, and the five Tatsumi siblings from Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive. In the Power Rangers lore, aficionados need not look further than Mike and Leo Corbett from Lost Galaxy and Ryan and Dana Mitchell from Lightspeed Rescue. Sesshoumaru the White Tigerzord Ranger and Inuyasha the Red Tyrannosaurus Ranger do follow in the vein of the older sibling being the Sixth/Extra Ranger who is the stealthy yet aloof fighter and the younger sibling being the Red Ranger…

The Main Seven Mighty Morphin Inurangers

Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here with another Inurangers entry. Today, I will be delving into the main Mighty Morphin Inurangers heroes, as in the seven teenage Yokai warriors with attitude. This is a general overview of who they are as heroes and as comrades.   High off of my recent excitement of my finished drawing of Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran as the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, I thought it would be great to have a go at enlisting the heroes in my Mighty Morphin Inurangers headcanon and discuss which Mighty Morphin Power Rangers counterpart suits each of the seven teenage Yokai warriors with attitude.   Before I get on to the main cast, a few words about composite and decomposite characters because there is going to be a number of them, especially in the heroes and in the villains. Since the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers had two Red Rangers, two Black Rangers, one Blue Ranger, two Yellow Rangers, and two Pink Rangers, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran are going to receive that composite character treatment, with Hakkaku and Ginta sharing a great number of the black rangers’ and the blue ranger’s traits. Where Sesshoumaru and Shuran are concerned, they are the decomposite character versions of Tommy Oliver during his respective White Ranger and Green Ranger days. Therefore, there are no International Peace Conferences, no Pan Global Games, no transfer of leadership just like what happened with Tommy’s new tenure as the White Ranger, and no power transfers until the main seven Mighty Morphin Inurangers get transformed into children, thus commencing the action for Mighty Morphin Makai Rangers and, subsequently, Inurangers Zeo but with a completely new cast. Therefore, the main seven Mighty Morphin Inurangers are going to stay the same from Season 1 to Season 3, with the only changes per season being their Zords and even their Ninjetti outfits in Season 3.   Speaking of the main seven as well as the Inurangers’ version of the Morphing Grid, where Mighty Morphin Power Rangers had five members at least to six members at most, there would already be seven members, seven morphing coins, and seven Power Morphers. This universe’s version of the classic saga “Green with Evil” would have neither Shuran nor Sesshoumaru introduced as new Rangers but already part of the established team, with the situation being that Shuran gets kidnapped by Urasue and turns evil before being woken up to his senses by having Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha blast the Sword of Evil away from him. Even more is how Shuran’s Green Ranger powers would tie him to the Green Candle created by Urasue and guarded by Goshinki as revenge for betraying her, thus making his life hang in the balance. Things came to a head when Shuran’s Green Ranger powers were slowly being depleted, while Sesshoumaru was doing everything he could to protect him from certain doom. Everything would come to a head when Shuran was trapped by Goshinki, thus making Inuyasha do battle with Goshinki and Sesshoumaru rescue Shuran from certain doom, with Inuyasha retrieving the candle in the nick of time, although its flame was slowly being depleted. As a result, Sesshoumaru decided to remain by Shuran’s side and momentarily hang up his White Ranger mantle until they try to find a way to recharge his Green Ranger powers, while Inuyasha inherited the Golden Dragon Shield and Dragon Dagger from Shuran.   To maintain this seven-member team, there would also be a legendary weapon that would end up recharging their powers in the form of the Sword of Light. Zordon was still recharging Sesshoumaru’s and Shuran’s White and Green Ranger powers, especially the latter’s with the candle still fading away, before he sent the Inurangers on a mission to retrieve the Sword of Light to fully recharge Shuran’s Green Ranger powers. Zordon may have fully recharged Sesshoumaru’s White Ranger powers because they could not be corrupted by evil hands and were fully guarded, but Shuran’s case was more drastic, for he had been under Urasue’s influence during his abduction, and the Sword of Light was needed to make the Green Ranger powers more invincible than ever before, thus fully purifying him from Urasue’s remaining grip. The Sword of Light was retrieved and Shuran was officially back in business as the Green Ranger. The Sword of Light was going to be later used for Shunran when her Pink Ranger powers were slowly being depleted by Urasue’s and Naraku’s corruption of them during the third season, thus purifying her from their corruption and gaining newer powers too. Therefore, the Sword of Light is not going to be utilised for giving power transfers but for recharging the Inurangers when their powers are running dry and in dire need of a boost.   With that said, let us get introduced to our main seven heroes. You know the drill, ladies and gentlemen, it’s morphin time and we need Ninja Inuranger power now! White Tigerzord Power! Green Dragonzord Power! Black Mastodon Power! Pink Pterodactyl Power! Blue Triceratops Power! Yellow Sabre-Toothed Tiger Power! Red Tyrannosaurus Power!   The Seven Mighty Morphin Inurangers Take two dog Yokai warrior brothers in Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, two panther Yokai warriors in Shuran and Shunran, and three wolf Yokai warriors in Hakkaku, Ginta, and Ayame, and you get the Mighty Morphin Inurangers. Teleporting seven overemotional and overbearing teenage Yokai warriors with attitude in the forms of Inuyasha, Shuran, Sesshoumaru, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran from Shikon Valley, Tokyo, Japan to the Command Centre may have seemed like an initial nightmare for Alpha 5, but Zordon has sufficient faith in these seven powerful supernatural warriors who are known for their strength, valour, stamina, and determination as heroes and as individuals. Whatever putties, monsters, and demons Urasue has for them during Season 1 and Naraku creates during Seasons 2 and 3, the seven Mighty Morphin Inurangers are not going…

The Splendid Seven’s Three Deadliest Martial Arts

Greetings, Splendid Seven devotees, martial arts aficionados, and fighting video game fans. Antoni here with another written entry focusing on Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran specialising in the martial arts they do. Today, I will be focusing on what I believe are the three deadliest, most lethal, and most explosive martial arts Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran specialise in the most. Get yourselves armed with strength and determination, ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be a full-contact throwdown extravaganza for the ages.   Ever since indulging myself in Fight Science, Fight Quest, Human Weapon, Kill Arman, Karate Combat, the 1995 World Combat Championship, the Rickson Gracie documentary entitled Choke, a bevy of martial arts documentaries, YouTubers specialising in martial arts, and let’s plays of various fighting games including Street Fighter, Tekken, and Karate Master Knockdown Blow, I have become a lot more intrigued with the martial arts world, especially where my fascination for full-contact martial arts increases every single day. This is especially helpful for not only The Splendid Seven but also many other anime characters I would love to incorporate specific martial arts towards as a means to make them be the powerful warriors that they are based on their personalities and their skills. Furthermore, I have been scouring every website and video out there to see what is said to be some of the deadliest martial arts suitable for seven powerful Yokai warriors.   In terms of how I defined three of The Splendid Seven’s deadliest martial arts, I will be judging them on fully close-range contact, devastating impact, and the range in striking, grappling, and takedowns necessary for the martial art to be considered complete. There is no doubt that I will be looking for the tremendous amount of pain and destructive force that Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran are more than willing to deliver. Knowing these seven powerful Yokai warriors, they would definitely do so with pure abandon. With that said, let the fists fly, the joints jostle, and the muscles mash, for Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran are prepared to bring their enemies into a world of unmitigated devastation. And trust me when I say that every attack and counterattack these seven Yokai martial artists commit to is more devastating than the last one they pulled off. Osu! Hajime!   Sesshoumaru: Shootfighting, Mixed Martial Arts, and Marine Corps Martial Arts Coming from a lengthy background in Karate, Jujitsu, Judo, and Taekwondo, Sesshoumaru bears a great deal of punches, kicks, takedowns, submission holds, elbow strikes, knee strikes, and grapples at his belt to overcome every single foe thanks to his strength, speed, and stamina. Whether he uses jabs, roundhouse kicks, arm bars or foot sweeps, each attack is guaranteed to cause excruciating damage to his opponents. From Shootfighting’s ruthlessly relentless takedowns to Mixed Martial Arts’ viciously bloody attacks to Marine Corps Martial Arts’ lethally rapid reaction time, Sesshoumaru is guaranteed to emerge as the mighty victor.   Shuran: Combat Sambo, Vale Tudo, and Professional Wrestling Grappling and submission in the forms of Full Nelsons, Boston Crabs, sleeper holds, back-breakers, bearhugs, throws, and, of course, bone-damaging piledrivers are the devastating moves which make Shuran one of the most formidable wrestlers Japan and the world have ever encountered. Thanks to Shuran’s heavyweight size and strength, he is easily at an advantage against those who dare to underestimate him thanks to how he effectively combines grappling and submission with visceral ground and pound attacks. It is no wonder why he is so heavily promoted in the world of Combat Sambo, Vale Tudo, and Pro Wrestling.   Inuyasha: Kapu Kuialua, Pankration, and Bokator With bundles of experience in Karate, Jujitsu, Judo, Taekwondo, Boxing, Wrestling, and Kickboxing, Inuyasha definitely knows how to propel his huge repertory of punches, kicks, takedowns, grapples, submission holds, elbow strikes, and knee strikes with leverage, power, and explosive ferocity. His favourite attacks are Superman punches, uppercuts, hooks, spinning axe kicks, roundhouse kicks, piledrivers, and chokeholds which are guaranteed to cause irreparably visceral internal damage to all of his opponents. Hence, his mastery in Kapu Kuialua, Pankration, and Bokator makes him a fierce, fearsome, and ferocious combatant.   Hakkaku: Muay Boran, Pradal Serey, and Kajukenbo Opponents better be prepared to guard their limbs, head, and every part of their body that may be at risk, for Hakkaku can unleash a flurry of visceral punches, kicks, elbow strikes, knee strikes, shin kicks, headbutts, and clinches. Nothing can hold Hakkaku back from inflicting as much devastation to his opponents thanks to his rapid speed, accurate timing, and abundant power in every strike and clinch he commits to. Regardless if Hakkaku does a front kick, an axe kick, a spinning back fist, a Superman punch, a shin kick, a knee strike or an elbow strike, he indubitably shows his exceptional prowess in Muay Boran, Pradal Serey, and Kajukenbo.   Ginta: Lethwei, Pencak Silat, and Sanda There is a slim chance that foes will ever triumph whenever Ginta is around to deliver an exceptionally grand program of punches, kicks, elbow strikes, knee strikes, shin kicks, headbutts, and clinches that can form dents on durably hard objects as well as the overall skeletal structure. Neither huge opponents nor more skilled foes would be able to escape from Ginta’s deadly Superman punches, headbutts, knee strikes, elbow strikes, cross punches, knee kicks, and front kicks plus his skills in disarming all of his foes. Therefore, his expertise in Lethwei, Pencak Silat, and Sanda has shaped him up to be a dynamic fighter.   Ayame: Hapkido, Koppojutsu, and Krav Maga Aggression, confidence, determination, dedication, fierceness, fearlessness, and valour are the building blocks of what define Ayame as a martial artist, a warrior, and an overall person. She fights not to show off but to protect and serve those she considers nearest and dearest to her. Every powerfully accurate move she makes is evidenced through her uppercuts, jabs, cross punches, reverse punches, spinning…
