The Brickubbles Flashbacks: Problem Solved! drawn by me

This Brickubbles submission, as part of BrickercupMasterX3’s Brickubbles month, is dedicated to a phenomenal DeviantArtist who celebrated his birthday yesterday, a fine and awesome gentleman by the name of Leonidafremov (Leonid Afremov). So, Mr. Afremov, I hope you had a magnificent birthday and I hope you enjoy this piece of fan art and this story that I made.   Today’s Brickubbles Flashback shows the time when Brick and Bubbles were in the seventh grade and there was a mathematics problem to be dealt with.   Mathematics. Whether one likes it, loves it or hates it, this subject is very much part of everyone’s life. One can use it when going to the grocery store, telling time, balancing one’s checkbook, and a plethora of other activities. I bet you recall the time you can’t stand math and try to avoid it as much as you can. However, there was that one person who was really good in this subject who actually inspired you at least tolerate it. I guess that person is worth being grateful for. Submitted for the approval of The Brickubbles Flashbacks, I call this story, Problem Solved.   Brick: Thanks for that usually dramatic intro, man.   Me: No problem, Brick. Now, let’s get this show on the row.   (Bubbles is rummaging through some old paraphernalia and finds a golden makeshift trophy with a plus sign.)   Bubbles: Hey, Brick. Do you remember this little trophy I gave to you?   (Brick takes time to look at the trophy and sees the inscription “Best Math Tutor Ever!”)   Brick: Yeah, I think I do. I still can’t believe it was like what twelve or thirteen years ago.   Bubbles: I believe you helped me with this ratio and proportion I had when we were in the seventh grade.   Brick: Ah, the seventh grade. That was something.   (Flashback to the autumn of 2005 begins. Brick was thirteen and Bubbles was eleven. The entire action takes place in Team Xtreme headquarters’ study hall. Bubbles is sitting alone on her desk and looks slightly flustered at the paper with a ratio and proportion problem. She is trying to find what N is but is still confused.)   Bubbles (thinking): Two-hundred by three-hundred is equal to N by six. What does this mean? Perhaps I should ask Brick he’s good at math.   (Brick is just walking through the hallways. Bubbles stands up from her chair and spots him.)   Bubbles: Brick!   Brick: Yeah, Bubs.   Bubbles: Can you please help me with this math problem?   Brick: Sure thing.   (Brick enters the study hall, as Bubbles sits down on her desk. He then looks at the paper and he has a confident smile on his face.)   Brick: Well, Bubs. It’s really simple. All you gotta do is first turn these into fractions. Don’t forget that two-hundred and N are the nominators and three-hundred and six are the denominators.   (Bubbles does what he tells him.)   Brick: Now that you’ve turned them into fractions, you have to cross multiply. What’s six times two-hundred?   (Bubbles observes where the six is and where the two-hundred is.)   Bubbles: One thousand two-hundred.   Brick: Correct! Now divide that by 300 and you get your N.   (Bubbles does the equation and is beaming with confidence. To her joy, she finally got the answer.)   Bubbles: N is four. So that means, two-hundred by three-hundred is equal to four by six.   Brick: Bingo, Bubs!   (Bubbles excitedly writes down the solution and the answer.)   Bubbles: Yes, I got it! Oh, thank you so much, Brickie!   Brick (nervously): Hehe. Hey, I was really happy to help.   (Bubbles hugs Brick and he reciprocates by hugging her back.)   Bubbles: You are definitely an awesome math tutor. I owe you one!   Brick: Aw, shucks, Bubs.   (The following morning is a Saturday. Bubbles is hiding something, as Brick is eating his breakfast.)   Bubbles: Good morning, Brick.   Brick: Morning, Bubs.   Bubbles: I made you something. First, you gotta close your eyes and hold out your hands.   (Brick closes his and holds out his palms. Bubbles give him his gift.)   Bubbles: Now you can open your eyes now.   (Brick opens his eyes and to his delight and surprise it is a makeshift golden trophy with a plus and an inscription, “Best Math Tutor Ever!”)   Brick: Bubs, thanks so much. I’m so honored. I don’t know what to say.   Bubbles: You’re very welcome, Brick. I carved it out some old gold items I found in the dump and I did all the fine-tuning. It took hours to do this. You truly deserve it, Brick. You really helped me. Now, I’m more motivated to do great in math and I’m not afraid of it anymore thanks to you.   Brick: I’m so happy to hear it, Bubs.   Bubbles: I will definitely remember this moment.   The now 24-year-old Bubbles: And I still do.   The now 26-year-old Brick: To this very day.   Brick and Bubbles: The End.   I declare this meeting of The Brickubbles Flashback closed. See you in the next flashback where our main protagonists look back at their high school years. This is something I am very excited about.   One has to leave it up to someone like Mr. Green to be the great father and teacher he is for the Rowdyruff Boys. He certainly raised them well and everything he taught them was especially absorbed by Brick. Let’s also give credit to Miss Bellum, known at that time as Mrs. Bellum-Green, who ensured that her sons have a more stable home life than what has been offered by HIM and Mojo Jojo. It’s quite amazing that someone like him can turn out to be so well-rounded. First proving that he can do the right thing, then showing his artistic talents, and now proving himself to…

The Brickubbles Flashbacks: Arts and Amicability drawn by me

This Brickubbles submission, as part of BrickercupMasterX3’s Brickubbles Month, is dedicated to a fellow DeviantArtist KingRyHuff, who celebrated his birthday yesterday. So, I hope you had such an amazing and I wish you a lot of amazing endeavors to come.   Welcome to the second installment of The Brickubbles Flashbacks. This time we’re going back to 2003, where Brick and Bubbles were eleven and nine years old respectively and in the fifth grade. One can say that this was one of their highlights during their elementary school years. Submitted for the approval of The Brickubbles Flashbacks, I call this story Arts and Crafts and Friendship.   With that said, Brick, Bubbles, you have the floor.   Brick and Bubbles: Thanks, Antoni!   Bubbles: Brick, do you remember Miss Scara?   Brick: Oh, you mean our former art teacher.   Bubbles: I still can’t believe she went from being Mask Scara to finally giving up the whole supervillainess to be an art teacher in Townsville International Academy. She truly was one of the best art teachers we ever had.   Brick: I can still remember the project we had to do together.   Brick and Bubbles: Paint an idealized version of your good friend.   (Flashback to 2003 begins. Brick, aged 11, and Bubbles, aged 9, are walking home from school with their canvases in hand. They look at each other with a smile.)   Bubbles: So, Brick, I’d like to see what you painted. I’m sure your work is really great.   Brick: Aw, you know I’m not as great as an artist compared to you. Bubs. But since you asked for it, here you go.   (Brick shows his canvas. It is a painting of Bubbles in 18th-century women’s attire complete with a frock, a three-cornered hat, and an elegant-looking hairstyle reminiscent of all the noblewomen at the time. In the background are two roses on each opposite side.)   Bubbles: Wow, Brick. It’s beautiful.   Brick: I…uh…call this one The Lady of the Court because that’s how I see you, Bubs. You are elegant and ladylike and you know it and you always like to look really pretty and cute.   Bubbles: Aw, shucks, Brick. By the way, here’s mine of you.   (Bubbles shows her canvas. It is a painting of Brick as a rock star with his trademark red cap, red shirt, and long orange hair, a black leather jacket, and an electric guitar. He is surrounded by flames and a gold wall is behind him.)   Brick: Bubs, this is amazing.   Bubbles: I call this one Musical Ignition because I have always seen you as the person who wants to be a rock star and you are a cool person to hang out with. Plus, I really love your fire powers.   Brick: You know something, Bubs?   Bubbles: Yeah?   Brick: I think we’re gonna be art buds for life.   (Brick and Bubbles giggle, as they continue to walk home.)   The now 26-year-old Brick: And we still are.   The now 24-year-old Bubbles: To this very day.   Brick and Bubbles in the present: The End.   I declare this meeting of The Brickubbles Flashbacks closed. See you in the next post.   The idea of having Mask Scara from the Season 6 episode A Made Up Story as a reformed character and art teacher sort of came to my mind by complete chance. I figure that instead of using her silly makeup to take over the world, she could use her skills as an artist to mold young minds into doing something really creative, hence her reforming into an art teacher. This managed to also tie in very well with the then eleven-year-old Brick and the then nine-year-old Bubbles. One also has to leave it up to Miss Scara and Bubbles to tap into Brick’s artistic side and for Brick to see how graceful and lovely Bubbles is as a person. Therefore, Brick and Bubbles have had a gig where they called themselves Fab Art Buddies for Life during their years as children.   Well, I hope you all enjoyed this post and piece of Brickubbles fan art. Until then, see you in the next post.   Brick and Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls belong to Craig McCracken and Cartoon Network.

The Brickubbles Flashbacks: Saving Mr. Octi drawn by me

This Brickubbles submission, as part of BrickercupMasterX3’s Brickubbles month, is dedicated to a phenomenal DeviantArtist by the name of NostalgicChills whose works especially involving The Lion King and many other animated movies and shows manage to emotionally stir me in terms of the feel, style, and everything else about them and who is also celebrating her birthday today. So, Nostalgic Chills, I wish you a most pleasant, blessed, and amazing birthday and many more awesome years as an artist to come. This is the first of the many one-shots that I would like to call The Brickubbles Flashbacks in which Brick’s and Bubbles’ friendship is witnessed throughout the years from childhood to teenhood to adulthood. What better way to start this series of one-shots than with their time in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten. Sometimes the people you meet are not always what they seem from the beginning. An enemy can turn into a friend and vice versa. Moreover, a person’s personality and traits can change with time, with the environment, and even through a family raises him or her. But what if someone who hated your guts went out of his way to protect you? Would that person become your good friend? Or will he just turn back to his old ways? Submitted for the approval of The Brickubbles Flashbacks, I call this story… (I throw sugar and snips of dog fur on the campfire.) Saving Mr. Octi. Brick: Uh, dude. Aren’t you being a bit overdramatic here? Bubbles: Yeah, it’s not a horror story. It’s just about the time Brick gave Octi back to me from Mitch during our kindergarten years. Me: I was trying to build up the atmosphere. I’ll let you guys have the floor. Brick: Thanks, man. Twenty years, huh, Bubs. Bubbles: Yeah, who knew our friendship grew at that time. Brick: And to think we started out as bitter enemies and look at us now. We’ve grown from the half-pints we were to a full-fledged superhero team. Especially now since I have BC as my wife and we got three kids of our own, Bloss is really happy with my favorite bro, Butch, and their three kids, Mitch has Bunny and their two tykes, and you got Boomer and your four kids. Plus, having you as my closest sister-in-law, that’s really saying something. Bubbles: I remember all of this like it was just yesterday. (Flashback begins in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten’s playground in the summer of 1998. Brick, Mitch, Floyd, and Lloyd were six years old and Bubbles was four years old. The children are playing are sorts of games, sports, and other physical activities. Bubbles is in the corner near the sandbox playing with Octi.) Bubbles (giggles): Oh, Octi, you’re the best friend I ever have. What would you like to do today? (Three shadows approach behind Bubbles, two tall and one shorter than them. They belong to Floyd and Lloyd Floyjodson and Mitch Mitchelson.) Mitch: Awww… Ain’t that precious. Widdle Bubbles playing with her dumb Octi doll! Floyd and Lloyd: Yeah, her dumb Octi doll! (Mitch, Floyd, and Lloyd cackle.) Bubbles: Take that back! Octi is not dumb! He’s a smart, caring octopus and my best friend! Mitch: Oh, really. (Mitch harshly snatches Octi away from Bubbles.) Floyd: Who’s gonna save him now? Lloyd: Come on and get him! (Bubbles charges at Mitch but he pushes her down.) Mitch: Ha! As if you can ever save him! (Mitch, Floyd, and Lloyd laugh boisterously. This causes Bubbles to bawl her eyes out much like in All Chalked Up when Buttercup crushed her chalk.) Mitch, Floyd, and Lloyd: Awww… Look! The little baby is crying! (Mitch, Floyd, and Lloyd continue to laugh and Bubbles continues to wail and cry loudly.) Brick: Hey! Dorkwads! (Mitch, Floyd, Lloyd, and Bubbles turn towards Brick’s direction. The expression he is wearing on his face is more than just disgust. It is fury, rage, and unspeakable terror rolled up into one terrifying package.) Mitch: Oh no! It’s Brick! Bubbles (as she stops crying): Brick? Floyd and Lloyd: Uh…How ya doin’- Brick: Don’t how you doin’ man me, ya creeps! Mitch: Isn’t Butch supposed to be- Brick: He’s with Boom, Bloss, and BC playing dodgeball! (Cut to Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Buttercup who are about to play dodgeball.) Boomer: I just hope Brick doesn’t pummel Mitch too bad. Buttercup: Mitch may think he’s tough but I think he’s no match for Brick. Blossom: Knowing what happened I highly doubt Mitch will get out of this alive. Especially based on how Bubbles’ crying was heard from where we currently stand. Butch: All right, we get it. Mitch took Octi away from Bubs and Brick said he’ll be right back to teach him a lesson, can we start the game now? Please? (Cut back to Brick who is snarling at Mitch, Floyd, and Lloyd like an angry tiger. He has them cornered. Bubbles is frozen with fear at Brick’s boundless anger.) Mitch (quaking): Hey, hey listen, man, we were just- Brick: SHUT UP!!!! Mitch (still quaking): We were just having fun with Bubbles, right, Floyd, Lloyd? Floyd and Lloyd (nervously and hesitantly): Yeah, yeah- Brick (even more enraged grabbing Mitch by the collar): Shut up and give me Octi! NOW!!!!! (Mitch is trembling with fear, as he shakily hands over Octi to Brick. Brick then grunts, as he shoves Mitch to the ground.) Brick: If I see you, idiots, messing around Bubbles and my side of the turf again… Mitch: Messing around with Bubbles? We just wanted to play with her, man. Floyd and Lloyd: Yeah, play with her- Brick: As I was saying. If I catch you losers pulling that stupid stunt again, I’m gonna bludgeon, mash, and crush your skulls open and destroy what’s left of you. Now get out! (Brick is preparing to punch them by cracking his knuckles. As if on cue, Mitch, Floyd, and Lloyd run like bats out of Hell.) Bubbles (thinking in voiceover): Tell me I’m not dreaming….

A Letter and a Photo from a New Friend drawn by me

This is my second Brickubbles month submission as spearheaded by my dear friend, BrickercupMasterX3. I know I was supposed to submit this on Friday, but I had other things to accomplish like be present in a film shoot, watch Gounod’s Faust at the Deutsche Oper Berlin starring Valentin Dytiuk as Faust, Nicole Car as Marguerite, and Almas Svilpa as Mephistopheles, and make a vlog-style review of that opera the following day thus releasing it onto YouTube. So, to Paula, I am really, really sorry for the delay, but life happens and priorities have to be taken into consideration. I hope you can forgive me for the super, super long delay. I can assure you that I was working and planning really hard on this piece of work. Don’t worry though I will definitely submit the next piece of Brickubbles fanart later today before I make my review of Ponchielli’s La Gioconda at the Deutsche Oper Berlin starring Daniela Barcellona as Laura Adorno and George Gagnidze as Barnaba. As my peace offering, I give you my YouTube channel, where you can find my vlog-style reviews of operas, concerts, albums, musicals, ballet, cartoons, anime, and movies. You can watch all the videos you want if you really like and enjoy them. You will not be disappointed. I have also put in a lot of effort on my reviews, so do enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/user/operaanimelover369 This piece of Brickubbles fanart takes place after the first submission. And lo and behold, we also have Brickercup present here, oh, pure, boundless joy. So, we have a triple whammy here, a lovely, sweet BroTP in the form of the awesomely macho big brother-in-law Brick and inwardly hardcore little sister-in-law Bubbles, a fine BroTP or in this case SisTP in the form of the toughest fighter of an older sister Buttercup and the joy and the laughter of the youngest sister Bubbles, and the most awesome and my most personal favorite mixed-colored pairing OTP for life in the form of the large-and-in-charge, strong, handsome Brick and his sassy, feisty, tough wife Buttercup. Let’s get on with the show. Narrator: The City of Townsville! Team Xtreme Headquarters! And after last night’s shocking moment, it’s high time for the awesome men and women of Team Xtreme to start this shiny, new day. (Boomer’s and Bubbles’ room. Bubbles is the first to wake up, as Boomer is still sleeping. She passes by the training room where Butch is bench pressing and Blossom is doing push-ups, their usual morning routine. After that, she passes by Brick who is wearing an apron with the inscription “Chef in da House” all in capital letters and who is also cooking breakfast for his teammates consisting of eggs, whole wheat toast, avocado slices, Canadian bacon, and roasted bell peppers and Buttercup who is setting the table while in her training outfit, as she used the training room before Butch and Blossom.) Brick: Good morning, darling kid sister-in-law. Did you sleep well? Bubbles: Uh-huh. Brick: Well, breakfast will be ready in about 15 minutes. So, do me a solid and call Butch, Blossom, and Boomer to the dining hall. Buttercup: By the way, Bubs. You got a letter from that girl you saved last night. Bubbles: Oh, you mean Jessica? Buttercup: Yeah, it’s on the counter. I placed it there for you before you woke up. (Bubbles goes to the counter and sees a fuschia envelope in which the back side says “To Bubbles Utonium-Green” and the front side says “From Jessica King”. She then opens the letter and reads it.) Jessica (voiceover): Dear Bubbles. Thanks for saving me from those bad guys. You are my hero and I wanna be like you when I grow up. Love, Jessica. (After reading the letter, Bubbles then sees a picture of Jessica, Mr. King, and Mrs. Smiling radiantly. Tears of joy are almost about to flow from Bubbles’ eyes. Brick and Buttercup approach her and comfort her.) Brick: Like I said, Bubs, I am really proud of you. You not only saved someone as nice and kind as Jessica from being attacked by those bastards but you also made a really great friend through her. Buttercup: As your sister, I always believed in you, Bubs. You really outdid yourself last night and I couldn’t be any happier for you. You risked your life to save another. And now that you made a great, new friend like Jess, I can’t wait to also meet her. She seems like a great kid. Bubbles: Yeah, she truly is. (Brick, Buttercup, and Bubbles group hug.) This was definitely in the making, as I wanted a bit of closure from the whole Jessica King case, and I was rather satisfied with the results. Like I said, it took time, heart, lots of thinking, effort, plausibility, and lots of love to continue this little story from where the first submission left off and I’m sure this will touch many hearts if it manages to do so. If it does, great and even if it does not, I’m sure it will get a reacting from someone. Well, Paula, you enjoyed this belated submission. I apologize from the bottom of my heart for the delay, but you know life happens and I hope you can forgive. I’m sure this submission and my YouTube channel will definitely suffice as my peace offering and take care and lots of love. By the way, the surname Green is meant for the Rowdyruff Boys as their permanent surname instead of Jojo, as Mr. Green and Mrs. Sara Bellum-Green are their adoptive parents after the whole Him and Mojo Jojo debacle in Custody Battle, at least where my headcanon is concerned. Long story short, the Rowdyruffs were officially adopted by Miss Bellum while they were still six years old, thus making the Powerpuffs specifically Blossom and Buttercup five years old and Bubbles four years old back then, after she found them in the streets. The surname Green came along when Mr. Green of…

Let’s Get You Home drawn by me

This is my first Brickubbles month submission as spearheaded by my dearest friend and fellow DeviantArtist, BrickercupMasterX3.   The basic story behind this picture goes like this.   Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles have decided to call it a night after ridding Townsville of a giant monster ravaging the city. Bubbles decided that she wants to do some final scouting of the city to which her teammates consented, as she is old enough to take care of herself even though she is the youngest teammate.   As she was scouting, she spotted some thugs making advances on a battered ten-year-old girl. The sight of this cruelty was enough to let Bubbles unleash her hardcore side, as she beat the thugs up. The ten-year-old girl introduced herself as Jessica King and she said she wanted to go back to her parents but she ended up getting lost. Bubbles offered to call Jessica’s parents on her Team Xtreme cellphone to which she did. After finishing her call, Jessica alerted Bubbles that one of the thugs was right behind her. It was too late, as the thug whacked Bubbles on her head with a club. Jessica was frozen with fear, but Bubbles’ last words before she was dragged off was, “Call Brick.” Without hesitation, Jessica did just that, as she searched through the contacts. In the nick of time, Mr. and Mrs. King arrived to pick up their daughter. In a state of panic, Jessica called Brick on the Team Xtreme cellphone. Brick received the news and a flash of anger was brewing in his eyes. As the eldest of Team Xtreme, he commanded Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Buttercup to head back to Team Xtreme headquarters and assured them that he will be back at 10 PM.   Bubbles woke up to the sound of malicious laughing, as the thugs were about to violate her. Battered, Bubbles was about to go to her hardcore phase until Brick came along. He fought with all of his strength receiving lacerations from the thugs’ knives and a few beatings. Bubbles joined him in beating up the thugs until her body gave way and fainted. Brick handed the thugs over to the police and carried Bubbles home via a piggy-back ride on him. What follows is the aftermath of what happened that night.   Bubbles (waking up on Brick’s back): Where am I? Brick?   Brick: Bubs! Thank God you’re awake!   Bubbles: What happened? Where’s Jessica?   Brick: Well, apparently, you used up a lot of your energy when you went hardcore to beat up those bastards. You don’t need to worry about Jessica. She’s safe with her parents and she’s so thankful to have someone brave like you save her. If that didn’t happen, she would’ve been a goner for sure.   Bubbles: Did she really mean it?   Brick: Yeah, she even gave me this.   (Brick gives Bubbles her Team Xtreme cellphone.)   Bubbles: My cellphone. Thanks, Brick.   Brick: Don’t thank me. Thank Jessica for keeping it in mint condition. You were actually wise to tell her to call me when you were in danger. I know I’m supposed to be angry at you for going off on your own like that, but I am actually proud of you for saving that girl’s life. You really are something, Bubbles.   Bubbles: And in return, you rescued me. Sometimes, I still can’t believe you went from being the jerky kid who used to be mean to me and my sisters to an awesome person who knows how to take charge. I guess it’s no wonder why BC is so happy to have you as her husband. You’re always there for us. Plus, you and Blossom are great as our team leaders. So, I just wanna say, thank you so much, Brick, for all the times you saved not only me but also the people who were in danger.   Brick: You’re welcome, Bubs. I’ve always been saving you because it was not only the right thing to do, but you are like the little sister I never had. I’ve only been growing up with my bros before we got adopted by our mom and dad. I just wanna leave Mojo and Him in the past. That’s where they should stay and they don’t deserve to be in neither my nor your life.   Bubbles: Brick, you’ve learned from the past. And look at you. You’re a wonderful guy and I am so happy you’re in my life. Not only as my big brother-in-law but also a great leader for Team Xtreme.   Brick: Gee, thanks, Bubs. You know what? I really like how forgiving and compassionate you are. You really know how to give people a second chance in life and you always fight for what’s right. At times, I wish I could be like you.   Bubbles: Really?   Brick: Yeah. Anyways, it’s getting late. Let’s get you home before Boomer starts to have another panic attack of losing you, Butterbabe starts beating my ass for it, Bloss starts scolding me why I didn’t get you home on time, and Butch starts not speaking to me for not rescuing you. You need rest, Bubs.   Bubbles: I’ll do just that, Brick.   (Bubbles closes her eyes, as Brick flies gently back to Team Xtreme headquarters where Butch and Blossom were sleeping side by side in their queen-size bed, Buttercup was sleep-punching in her’s and Brick’s king-size bed, and Boomer is sleeping still in his and Bubbles’ queen-size bed. Brick lays her down beside Boomer and gives Bubs a goodnight kiss.)   Brick: Goodnight, little sis-in-law. I’ll see you in the morning.   (Brick heads back to his and Buttercup’s room where he scooches over to her side and stops her sleep punching. Buttercup’s mouth contorts to a smile and Brick dozes off.)   There you have it, folks, my first Brickercup month submission for this year. As you can tell…

My RRB/PPG Ships

The PPG/RRB Shipping Chart was originally created by QuietLullabies.   Well, I am in the marvelous city of Madrid, Spain, where I will be celebrating my 26th birthday. Yes, I know, another year older, another year wiser. So, to celebrate my upcoming birthday here’s my take on the whole PPG/RRB shipping meme chart.   I have been seeing fellow artists’ takes on these pairings. Some were interesting, some were a bit one-sided, and some were actually well-thought out and I enjoyed reading their opinions on the Rowdyruffs and Powerpuffs they like or not like to pair up with. So, without ado, here’s my take on the PPG/RRB shippings.   OTPs: Boomer/Bubbles or Boomubbles- In my opinion, this has to be the most plausible and overall best of not only the color-coded RRB/PPG pairings but also RRB/PPG pairings in general. These two seem like they are destined to be for each other and are akin to the star-crossed lovers that I have seen in the media and literature, i.e. Romeo and Juliet. I am very sure that these two would start leaving behind any animosity if the Rowdyruff Boys became good guys, joined forces with the Powerpuff Girls and will be the first to show loads of forgiveness and compassion, while they are still young children. Eventually, Boomer and Bubbles would start becoming the closest of friends and comrades, thus building a healthy and genuine relationship between the two. Once they reach their tweens and teens, they would develop even deeper feelings for each other and will actually go on more dates, aside from the usual crime-fighting they have to do. Plus, in my headcanon, they would end up being the first to marry in their late teens to their early 20s and have children with Boomer being the loving, well-meaning father and Bubbles being the supportive, compassionate mother, in spite of the fact that they are the youngest of their respective sibling groups. It’s no surprise why I love the Blues when they are together. It’s because of not only their appeal of being adorable, sweet, and/or lovely but it also has this fairytale-like feel in their relationship, where after every trial, every challenge, and every hardship, Boomer and Bubbles still have each others’ backs and will seem to be the couple that will stay faithful to each other until the end of time.   The Reds and the Greens were rather interesting to pair up because not only do I like Blossick and Butchercup, even though they can be a tad bit overrated, but I also enjoy Brickercup and Blossutch as much as the former. Moreover, the Reds and the Greens don’t really have that fairy tale, lovey-dovey, sentimental vibe that the Blues have, thus showing how tough being in a relationship is, yet at the same time it is reassuring, as principles of respect, responsibility, compassion, allegiance, and trust need to be put in to practice, not only with each other but also for the good of their team. So, here’s my take on these pairings, even though I made it kind of clear in my OT4 drawing of Bricksomutchercup. I still keep my word that Brick, Butch, Blossom, and Buttercup are the strongest OT4 in my opinion, hence that’s why I dub them to be my Four Favorite Bruisers of All Time because of their unwaveringly strong personalities and overall determination. Plus, I imagine the Reds and the Greens living together under one roof, with the Blues living in another house. So, here are my explanations, anyway.   Brick/Blossom or Blossick- I put this as my first choice because they seem to be the ones who follow suit when it comes to Boomer and Bubbles being together. As they grow up and form a six-person superhero team, I can see them still obtaining responsibilities of being leaders as well as the eldest children with Brick and his large-and-in-charge warlord personality who ensures a fair fight, great combat skills from all of his teammates, and a grand victory for every mission they do and Blossom and her tendency to be the team mom who ensures strategy to be present in battle and the overall safety of not only her beloved but also her comrades. I can see their romance as not being that of a fairy tale but one that is really challenging, as walls need to be broken down, trust has to be formed, and respect and allegiance need to be put to practice. Sure, they would initially have difficulty trusting and respecting each other. However, as time goes by, they would start to see each other for who they are. Brick would see that Blossom is not always Little Miss Perfect and Blossom would see that Brick has some insecurities, which are more often than not hidden in this proud personality. Together, these two can take what primal doubts and insecurities they have and take them in stride, thus helping each other reach their full potential not only physically but psychologically as well. As young adults in their twenties, they and the Greens would even have a double wedding after their youngest siblings’ matrimony and as parents, I can imagine Blossom being the stern, well-meaning, and supportive mom and Brick being the strong, tough, and really loving dad. I really love this pairing because it does show how being in a relationship is not always easy but when two people have patience, trust, respect, allegiance, and understanding anything is possible.   Butch/Buttercup or Butchercup- Ah, yes. One of the Takahashi couples to end all Takahashi couples because of their volcanically belligerent sexual tension. They would be the couple who would argue and shout one moment and be cuddly and make love to each other in the next. As I stated before, Ranma and Akane would end up paling in comparison to Butch’s and Buttercup’s brand of belligerent sexual tension. As the toughest and most volatile fighters, with Butch being the big muscle and Buttercup being the…
